More than 40 sculptures set among French-inspired gardens featuring wildlife from around the world: Pyrenean horses, elephants, pandas, and fantastical creatures. Free admission, open 365 days a year, and dogs are welcome on a leash.
La Ruta
Los Jardins de Juberri are one of those discoveries that weren't in the plan and end up being the best part of the trip. At 1,250 meters altitude, in the small residential area of Juberri, artist Nicole Grignon created in 2005 a space that blends French gardening, contemporary sculpture, and fauna from five continents.
More than 40 pieces spread throughout the gardens: topiaries shaped like Pyrenean animals — horses, sheep, marmots — alongside elephants, giant pandas, gorillas, and giraffes made with vegetation and stone. Fountains, waterfalls, scale models of Andorran Romanesque churches, and sculptures of giant hands complete a tour that has much more to it than it appears from the road.
Free admission, open year-round 24 hours with dogs welcome as long as they're on a leash. Free parking. There is a bus line from Escaldes-Engordany (line 1, every 20-30 minutes).
Localización
From Sant Julià de Lòria follow the signs towards Naturlandia, and from there take Carretera del Bec in the direction of Juberri. The free parking is next to the gardens. By bus: line 1 from Escaldes-Engordany, Juberri stop.
