Parque del Mirador del Migdia

We find ourselves on the Montjuïc mountain, a stretch of hillside that extends into the very heart of Barcelona. Next to the Port and the Poble Sec neighborhood, which acts as the city's lungs.

It has always been a meeting place for Barcelona residents and since the late 90s has become a shared space between citizens and visitors coming to discover the city, including four-legged friends.

They're going to love it especially: its rich biodiversity of Mediterranean trees will delight their noses as much as any respectable forest. It's full of trails and is usually busy with local runners. Our recommendation is that you take a good walk and finish up with something at La Caseta, the bar in front of the pond that's almost a monument for regulars.

It borders three more parks: Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer, Joan Brossa, and the Mirador de l'Alcalde. So it's an ideal place for a good picnic and to spend a dog day in style.
