Playa de La Rubina

If there's a beach on the Catalan coast ideal for dogs, it's undoubtedly Playa de la Rubina.

It's located in the municipality of Empuriabrava, right in the center of Roses Bay, on the Costa Brava. And very close to the Parque Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empòrda.

It was one of the first dog-friendly beaches in Spain. With fine sand and shallow waters, when the sea is calm you won't even need sunglasses — the water is crystal clear. It's a beach for dogs that's 100% suitable for your human family too.

The atmosphere is usually very pleasant, so if you visit, go with the flow, embrace the good vibes, and take care of the surroundings.

For now it doesn't have showers, but access is easy via a path at the northern end of the beach, right next to Santa Margarida.
